⚠️ RE-OPENING PLAN & GUIDELINES for Rumbles @ Vicar Water ⚠️
😁 We are happy to share with you the guidelines to reopening Rumbles @ Vicar Water, and the changes that have been made. Please take the time to read them in depth. we have done the best we can to keep everyone safe. In July we will be opening on Saturday 25th 9am-4pm.
📞 BOOKING ONLY (via – Phone, Tel: 01623 424836) - we cannot accept walk ins as we have limited seating & are working to a strict time schedule. Booking will be open to the public on Monday 20th July. We will need to take £5 non-refundable deposit per-person and a meal per order.
📖 Menus will be available on Facebook & our website by 19th July – www.rumblescatering.org.uk - found under the menus section.
👩⚕ NHS Track and Trace – We at Rumbles will be obligated to collect details of each person within each party to help with the NHS track and trace service. (Full names, Telephone numbers, postcode).
Please note: anyone who cannot or will not provide details upon request for NHS track & trace, we rumble hold the right to cancel and/or refuse any booking(s), we also so hold the right to ask any person to leave the premises who refuses to cooperate with NHS track & trace details.
We apologise if this seems harsh, but we must protect our staff, each other and Help the NHS & care staff reduce the virus where possible.
💰 Now more than ever small businesses need you; none shows will cripple small businesses like ours. Please be respectful of this, help where you can.
📏 We can only accommodate four tables or 4 & two tables of 2 (To adhere to government social distancing guidelines). These are 4-seater / 2-seater tables only, we cannot push any of these together.
Each table has 3 staggered booking slots. 10am till 11.30am, 12pm till 1.30pm & 2.00pm till 3.30pm. This allows cleaning time before and after each booking and because we will only have 1 member of staff to look after you all in the front of house. We will need to know your exact party size. There will be maximum of 4 X 4 to a table and 2 X 2 to a table. With maximum party size of 20 if space is available but we will not be able to put tables together.
🚶♂ On arrival (At your exact time. Please try not to be early or late, you may have wait longer, going into your slot time) please knock, and a member of staff will open the door for you. You will be asked to sanitise your hands before being shown to your table. Each table/party will be shown in one at a time.
☕️ We will be taking all drinks orders using order forms on the Table(s), we will then ask you drop the order on the designated collection/drop-off table. We will place your order (food and drink) on the same drop-off / collection table and shout you over to collect it. This is being done to reduce contact at the tables and reduce staff leaning over you within a proximity deemed unsafe via government guidelines.
🧘♀ We ask you to remain seated at all times, including children, unless using the toilet facilities or during drop-off / collection. If you need something, please give us a wave as we are limiting table contact as much as possible. Do not approach the counter, we will come to you.
Please adhere to the social distancing guidelines. For the safety of yourselves, the staff and those around you. We would not want anyone to fall ill.
🦠 Please do not attend the premises if you have any Corona-virus symptoms, or anyone within your household/bubble is self-isolating. We can and will rearrange your date to another time.
PLEASE NOTE - we will not allow the booking to be changed within a 14-day period from informing Rumbles that you are presenting symptoms of corona-virus, This will allow time for the virus to have left your system & maintain the safety of others how may be seated with in the room and our staff team.
👵👴 We ask that you please be mindful to the fact that as time progresses persons who were previously shielded will be venturing out to such places as ours and that these people are most at risk of serious illness &/or death from contracting corona-virus Please be honest with yourself & others if your presenting symptoms or have been in contact with anyone who is/or has presented symptoms.
♿️🚻 The toilet area is maintained by Newark & Sherwood Council. We ask you kindly to wash your hands after using the facilities & dry hands thoroughly. Please sanitize your hands when entering the seating area.
Pushchairs & mobility scooters are not to be brought inside. We apologise for this, but we do not have the room to put them with the new walkways with social distancing in place. They will have to remain outside unfortunately. Please inform us of any wheelchairs so we may make space at the table before your arrival.
🧯 Our fire exit/side doors are to remain closed, but windows will remain open all day to improve ventilation.
🚗 When parking please leave extra time to find a safe space before your slot begins enabling you to arrive on time.
🧺 All snack and drinks service will remain as a takeaway in our current format, order & pay at one door and collect from the window.
🥼 Rumbles staff will be using PPE when dealing with customers - In the form of face visors, some members of the team may be choosing to wear face masks, especially the ones who have vulnerable members of family at home.
💳 We ask where possible that one person on each table makes the payment at the end of the allocated time slot, this will reduce time spent waiting & prevent overcrowding within the space at the till area. All bills will be calculated minus any deposit money given. Please pay by card where possible, but cash will be accepted.
🌷 Lastly, please be kind. We really are trying and have been working hard to make this a safe environment for everyone. If you have any concerns, please let us know directly and we will do our best to help you. We have never had to do anything like this before, and its daunting. There will only be one member of staff in each area, so we may be strapped, we might not have sat down for a while, but we will do our best.
